Even though the iPad has a few technology restrictions for the near term, we believe it is well-positioned between a desktop and a PDA to manage many tasks (with a simple touch) that physicians and patients can perform within a hospital or community setting.

Imagine a patient walks into your clinic or hospital and is given an iPad that acts as a mobile kiosk to review, verify and speed up the registration process. Once the patient is admitted to the unit, physicians and clinicians can make rounds and access TSG’s Physician/Provider Portal & CPOE application via the iPad to show and discuss with patients their clinical progress, prognosis, disease management options, etc. Discharge planning may now include patient education via the iPad.
