To Enhance Your Transcription Workflow While Saving Costs & Resources
Is your dictation & transcription workflow integrated with each other? Is your organization suffering from the slow speed and limited availability of word processing features in Legacy HIS systems? Are you among many struggling to meet the increased demand for clinical documentation and faster turnaround times? TSG is proud to present a free of charge webinar to enhance your Transcription workflow while saving costs and resources for all the HIM Directors, HIM Supervisors and Transcription Supervisors. The webinar will focus on how to leverage ETranscriptor, EzDictation as well as EzOutsourcing options to make smart and accurate decisions and to respond to challenges in a more efficient manner.
Hot Topics of Discussion will include:
-
Problems related to lack of real time integration between Dictation and Transcription systems.
-
Tracking and management of Dictation from the time the doctor picks up the phone to the time the report is signed.
-
Benefits of leveraging features of Microsoft Word that allows enhanced productivity on the transcriber end.
-
Completely open and customizable dictation system where everything from the prompts to the phone keys can be personalized.
-
Outsourcing overflow work or complete outsourcing as viable options for Transcription.
-
Industry standard security practices for protecting the Dictations and Transcripts.

Increasing Organization Profitability & Performance through Business Intelligence (BI)
Today’s healthcare organization must cope with extraordinary complexity. Rapid changes in the marketplace, complicated regulatory and compliance requirements, a greater demand for transparency, shrinking reimbursements and increasing demand for optimum care all contribute further to this turbulent environment. Finance, IT, other executives are dissatisfied with current solutions measuring performance improvement and feel that a new level of data aggregation, analysis and reporting across the enterprise is needed to fulfill existing and future requirements. Therefore, many are turning to enterprise BI solutions.
Case Study:
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler (UTHSCT) is a 120 licensed acute care beds, 23 multi-specialty clinics and averages over 130,000 ED, OP, inpatient, and SDS visits. Core HIS: MEDITECH and LSS.

The answer is simple, Total Commitment & Smart Tools
-
Commitment to productivity benchmarks.
-
Commitment to invest in software to replace inefficient personnel workflow.
-
Commitment to divest established programs that provide no added value to the institution’s mission.
-
Commitment to invest in new programs that separate the institution from the “pack”.
-
Commitment to ask, “Why do we do it that way?” and the refusal to accept the answer, “because that’s the way we’ve always done it.”
