Tomball Regional Medical Center has successfully implemented TSG’s Physician/Provider Portal with Meditech Client/Server applications.
During the process, Tomball Regional Medical Center integrated the following modules: Meditech Nursing, All Ancillary Applications, ADM, ABS, CWS, ORM, an On Call Schedule with Scanned documents,
E-Sign for Legal Record, PACs, etc. into the portal.
During the first month of their implementation, they had close to 150 physicians from all specialties using their system. At the present time there are approximately 200 physicians and clinicians using the product at Tomball. Within Physician/Provider Portal they enjoy:
- Using the ease-of-use E-Sign functionality
- Seeing multiple views under Lab: panel, trend, component – where all views have graph elements. Physicians have access to ALL historical visit data
- Under PACS, using TSG’s single sign-on where physicians have the ability to launch an image at the report level
Tomball Regional Medical Center applied lean management techniques during its implementation process and was able to transform many of its processes to enhance the care process.
