Since the introduction of the Ipad, TSG’s Research and Development
team continues to evaluate the iPad’s potential use and value in the healthcare industry. We believe that an iPad with its multi-touch, long battery life and mobile capability is a potential game changer for physicians, clinicians and patients. It is also now available as a part of TSG’s ‘Meaningful Use’ (MU) suite of applications.

Even though the iPad has a few technology restrictions for the near term, we believe it is well positioned between a desktop and a PDA to manage many tasks (with a simple touch) that physicians and patients can perform within a hospital or community setting.
Imagine…A patient walking into your clinic or hospital and is given an iPad that acts as a mobile kiosk to review, verify and speed up the registration process. Once the patient is admitted to the unit, physicians and clinicians can make rounds and access TSG’s Physician/Provider Portal & CPOE application via the iPad to show and discuss with patients their clinical progress, prognosis, disease management options etc. Discharge planning may now include patient education via iPad. All of this and more is possible today with TSG’s True Safari based iPad application suite.
If your hospital is looking for MU solutions that will be quickly adopted by physicians, clinicians & patients and come fully integrated with your HIS system, then please call for a demo.
